No doubt, most who bet on it do know the game well enough to make up their own minds but advice from professionals only helps to boost your chances at coming out on top. Let’s tell you about the top two contenders for the FIFA World Cup title this time.

Germany

World Cup holders from 2014 look in excellent shape and have a very good chance of defending their title, after staying unbeaten in all of their games in the year 2017. They already collected a trophy during the build-up games for the World Cup in Russia, bagging the Confederations cup in July last year. They made excellent use of the warmup tournament for testing new players like Lars Stindl. Their World Cup qualifying run involved 10 victories from 10 matches and a European record of 43 goals. Coached by Joachim Loew, who had assisted Jurgen Klinsmann during Germany’s 2006 World Cup appearance, the team looks in excellent form ahead of the tournament. Loew was instrumental in guiding the German team to victory in the 2014 World Cup. Toni Kroos is the key player as well as their captain whom you must closely follow during the cup. He keeps their side ticking from the midfield wherein his composition, precision and intelligence with the ball helps the players in moving forward.

Brazil

The gloom which engulfed Brazil post their disastrous 7-1 loss to Germany in the World Cup semi-finals in 2014 seems to have finally lifted. Brazil became the first team to qualify for the World Cup and secured some very memorable wins along the way, including an impressive 3-0 victory over Argentina. What made this victory even sweeter is that it came in the same Mineirao stadium where they had lost to Germany in 2014. https://www.youtube.com/embed/juFqj-NKOj8 Adenor Bacchi, who is universally recognised as Tite, has been instrumental in transforming Brazil from a flop team to favourites for the upcoming World Cup. Tite, who was signed up as the Brazil coach in September 2016, has played a very key role in Brazil’s revival. Under his guidance, Brazil has scored 13 victories and has lost only once (in a friendly match against Argentina). Apart from that, there have been only 3 draws. The Brazil football team of today is far from the muscular 2014 side which depended heavily on the skills of Neymar. This Brazil team is all about flair and organisation. It goes without saying that Neymar Jr who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain is the key player to watch out for in Brazil’s World Cup squad. At 26 is at the prime of his football career and is all set to overthrow Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the best player, provided Brazil goes all the way.
